As a Business Development Manager, you will take full ownership of your cluster. Thanks to your broad interest in business and your proven experience, you thoroughly know your clients and prospects; the challenges they are facing and the general trends and evolutions in the market. By your powerful networking capabilities and analytical mindset, you get to know and understand (potential) clients’ strategies and become a valuable business partner, who supports them in maximizing their data and insight potential, inspire them and challenge them strategically.
You know all about data driven marketing, customer acquisition, targeting, segmentation, up&cross selling, churn, interaction scenario’s; you actively apply it yourself and advise your clients about this matter. You can easily detect how the Bisnode Solutions can add value and contribute directly to their commercial and financial objectives. You build a business case together with your client to proof the ROI of the offered solution in your consultative selling approach.
You are a born networker. You are connected with decision makers on C-level within your market and feel comfortable thinking along and negotiating with them. You are the professional billboard of Bisnode Belgium on events and congresses and you’re always on top of the latest trends.
Your open and transparent communication style enhances the collaboration in the team and together, you maximize the client portfolio, expand their budget and ensure the highest quality and service. Of course, as a senior person you are open to step in and take additional responsibilities when the market and or internal organization requires this.
You and your experience
You are fascinated by business, general and financial management and have a deep understanding of these processes. You master all the digital marketing aspects and have strong affinity with data and analytics. As a person – you bring high energy, solid coaching skills and you see the joy in working in an international environment. Concretely, we are looking for;
Higher degree, likely within finance or economics.
Experience (8-10 years) in business development, consultative selling and key account management.
A broad network within your market and the tools to leverage it.
Analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, assertiveness as well as excellent listening and presentations skills.
Fluency in Dutch, French and English.
Our Local Sales Department is divided into 5 clusters (Telecom & Utility, Banking & Credit, Insurance, Automotive and FMCG & Retail) for our two smart data product lines: Marketing and Credit Management. Each cluster is led by a Business Development Manager who is supported by a team of Experts and Clients Project Managers. The experts will work with the Business Development Manager in pre-sales, the client project managers will secure the ongoing business and ensure the delivery of high quality solutions for our top clients.
